Mindset Matters!

I believe that having the right mindset can change your world. By being able to cultivate a champion’s mindset, you are able to achieve meaningful goals, be a positive person, and influence others. The thing is, having this kind of mindset isn’t easy. It costs the significant price of time and effort! It takes being able to push yourself out of your comfort zone. It takes being a creative thinker. And it takes the desire to improve. But, if you are willing to put in this effort, just on the other side of your obstacles is something amazing.

A few years back I started dealing with some anxiety. I was having difficulty in all areas of my life. I just couldn’t figure out how to get the right mindset. But after some time, I started the work of developing a champion’s mindset, and in the process of going through this, I realized how important having the right mindset is to everything that I do in life. I learned how to set my mind so I’m ready to attack the day and not get bogged down by the challenges that I see ahead.

By no means, do I have it all figured out. I have good days where I feel motivated and ready to grind. But I also have days where I don’t feel quite 100%. What I have found though is that the more I work at it, the fewer and further between are my down days. And if I do have them, I am able to turn them around quicker. So for me, that’s a win!

In my years of coaching and working with athletes I have always noticed and appreciated those that have the champion’s mindset. It is a skill that too many people do not spend time developing that could change their athletic and personal lives! So that is what I am hoping to do with this blog…. Help to change your athletic and personal lives…

In the rest of these blogs I will be sharing with you various ideas and ways to develop and cultivate the champions mindset. I will have interviews with coaches, athletes writing their own stories, and nuggets of wisdom that I have picked up over the years that have helped me. My hope is that you will find something that will help you in here!

Good luck in everything you hope to achieve! The first step…is to take a step!

Remember,

Enjoy the Journey!
